A confusing power struggle is underway now in Washington. We’re here to give you a clear way to take action on something that you care about: support for great trains.

Act now: Tell Congress to keep investing in trains.

One of President Trump’s first acts in office interferes with funding for new and improved train service. On January 20, the President signed an executive order to “pause” further use of funds approved by Congress in the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. This is a threat to American train service, because that law is funding dozens of rail projects all over the country.

Legal challenges to new executive orders have already started, and courts will look at whether the President’s strategy is unlawful. Regardless of that outcome, though, Congress plays a huge role in setting—and funding—national priorities.

That is why this confusing time makes it so important for you to send a clear message to Washington, DC.

Tell Congress to continue investing in American trains.

With new starts fostered by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we have a chance to break the vicious cycle of highway dependence. Trains can reconnect smaller communities with major urban centers, stimulate smart, more sustainable economic growth, and create new American industries, to build, operate, and maintain trains and local transit systems.

Tell Congress now that you want the better, brighter future that great trains deliver.
