It’s my first Giving Tuesday with the High Speed Rail Alliance, and I’m asking for your help to build a fast, frequent rail network in the U.S.
Make your early Giving Tuesday gift today
I joined the HSRA team in September 2025, and it’s been amazing to connect with so many dedicated rail advocates across the country just like you.
I’m truly excited for what we can accomplish together—and that starts with making a mark this giving season.
It took a trip to France and Germany, where I was studying the history and impact of high-speed rail, to really change how I think about travel.
I missed my train in Frankfurt—by maybe 30 seconds. I watched it pull away as I ran up the stairs, luggage bouncing behind me, certain I’d ruined my day. The station agent smiled: “The next one leaves in 12 minutes. Same platform.”
Twelve minutes later, I was on another high‑speed train, and I made my meeting on time. No drama. No rental car. No scramble to figure out a backup plan.
That’s the power of a real network: speed and frequency working together.
When trains are fast and run often, your plans don’t fall apart. Whole regions become more connected and competitive. That’s the future the High Speed Rail Alliance is working to build here.
Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday—and if you believe the U.S. deserves a rail system where missing one train doesn’t derail your whole day, I’m asking you to give now.
Make your first gift ahead of Giving Tuesday and help bring fast, frequent rail to America.
When you give to HSRA, you’ll help:
- Advance corridor plans and policies that prioritize fast, frequent service between major cities.
- Educate decision‑makers with clear, credible proposals and public‑facing tools.
- Build coalitions so local wins add up to a connected national network.
Every gift, no matter the size, moves us closer to an America where clean, fast trains are the easy choice.

P.S. Giving early ensures your support is counted and gives us momentum going into Giving Tuesday.
