Jordan Pokorney

Jordan joined the High Speed Rail Alliance team in September 2025. As a lifelong train enthusiast, he is excited to work with Alliance members and partners to build a rail-forward future.
Originally from rural Minnesota, Jordan has been proud to call Chicago home since 2014. He believes in the Midwest’s potential for regional and high-speed rail and looks forward to making an impact with the Alliance across the country.
He has worked for a variety of nonprofits and foundations in the Chicago area, including Writers Theatre, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Howard Brown Health, and Good Chaos.
Jordan holds a BFA in Theatre Directing from Columbia College Chicago and continues to center the power of live experiences and creativity in his work.
