Molly Bañuelos joined the Board in 2022. Originally from Memphis, Molly has worked in Chicago since 2008, building her career in the international trade and development space. She currently works as Trade Attachée at the Québec Délégation in Chicago, focused on the Construction, Infrastructure, Environment, and Creative Industry sectors.

Molly previously served as a Trade Commissioner for the Life Sciences at the Consulate General of Canada in Chicago. She spent three years as the Trade Attachée for the Agrifood industry for Québec in Chicago, facilitating cross-border relationships in the food industry. Other former roles in Chicago’s global trade ecosystem include promoting American foreign direct investment into France as part of the French government agency Business France; representing the Midwest trade office of Alberta, Canada; directing the International Trade Center at the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago; and developing global market research engagements as part of Euromonitor’s North American sales office in Chicago.

Molly has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, International Business, and French from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. She resides in River Forest, Illinois with her husband and two young children.
