California High Speed Rail Opposition

This week, Vivek Ramaswamy (candidate to co-lead a “Department of Government Efficiency”) came out against investment in California’s high-speed rail project. This is not the first attack against the project and it probably won’t be the last. In 2019, the Trump administration rescinded a $929 million grant for the project. That grant was reinstated under the Biden administration. Advocates must be prepared to support high-speed rail in California.

You can help by becoming a member of the High Speed Rail Alliance today.

Stadler will highlight critical differences and trade-offs as part of an objective comparison between the two designs. While push-pull has been the status quo in North America for some time, Stadler US is eager to start and support conversations about leveraging more efficient, effective, and cost-conscious models for operations, effectively enriching communities and the greater transit world.
