Tell Congress to Expedite Superliner Replacement

Please ask your senators and representative to support American manufacturing capacity for new trainsets

For too long, the United States has neglected the potential of passenger rail. As a result, Amtrak has an aging and shrinking fleet. The national passenger railroad is often forced to run short trains that fill up and sell out quickly, even at high prices.

The recent withdrawal of Horizon coaches emphasizes the urgency.

Replacing the Superliners is particularly urgent.

Please ask your U.S. Senators and Representative in Congress to make sure that Amtrak rebuilds its fleet as quickly as possible by:

  • Simplifying the order to speed delivery
  • Commit to long-term funding to encourage more manufacturers to invest in American jobs
