Help Save Our Long-Distance Trains

Amtrak’s long-distance routes are in jeopardy.

The national passenger rail provider’s fleet of rolling stock is too small and too old to meet demand, which continues to rise. Trains are often sold out, and frequencies remain dismally low.

This year, it is essential that Amtrak places a large order of new equipment. In order to grow the network and develop the rolling stock supply chain, they need to run more trains. And they shouldn’t be pushing 50.
