Speaker: Mike Schlicting, Instructor at  the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Master’s in Transportation Administration & Community Development

Watch this webinar on the relationship between high-speed rail and the airline industry.

Go Faster! That sums up Mike Schlicting’s work. Mike and his team of students are looking at ways to travel faster. While Hyperloop and supersonic aircraft get all the press (and Mike’s group has plenty of experience with these) integrating high speed rail into the major airline networks is Mike’s specialty.

Mike teaches at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has a Master’s in Transportation Administration & Community Development, an MBA, a PHD coming later this year, and helps coordinate the Central Japan Railways internship program with the University.  Mike also worked for United Airlines for 14 years in United Ground Handling Services, revenue & inventory management, and airport operations prior to joining the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
