Speakers: Bill Hutchison and Ed D’Amoto, current Co-Chairs of the Lakeshore Rail Alliance and past presidents of All Aboard Ohio
Join us for a conversation about a proposal to introduce a daytime passenger train connecting Detroit and New York City. The service would feature morning departures, late-evening arrivals in both cities, and a travel time of approximately 16 hours.
This proposed route would serve as a catalyst for expanding train service in Ohio, helping to build a fast, frequent, and connected statewide network.
We’re excited to be joined by Bill and Ed from the Lakeshore Rail Alliance to share this vision with our members.
The Lakeshore Rail Alliance is a coalition of seven passenger rail advocacy organizations across six states and is led by All Aboard Erie. They are leading efforts to improve train service between New York and Chicago.
