HS2 is Britain’s new high-speed railway, a once-in-a-generation investment in it’s transport infrastructure. British-built trains will provide reliable, zero carbon travel, cutting journeys between our two biggest cities, London and Birmingham, by 40%.
The UK has long been a world leader in rail infrastructure, and HS2 represents the largest investment in the rail network since the Victorian era. It is a huge undertaking that brings with it challenges and opportunities.
